What Are Your Struggles With Projectors In The Classroom? How Did You Get Better At Managing Them?

The classroom projectors have come at a moment that is required to make it easier for the students to learn easily and interact appropriately with technology. Though the projectors are great for classrooms, there are some of the challenges that the teachers face in the classroom with the projectors that we are going to look at here and see some of the solutions to those problems. Here are some of the challenges that the classroom projectors have.

Resolution

For classroom projectors resolution is very important as the class or lecture hall need to be spacious enough, and therefore the resolution of the projector needs to be tremendous and explicit to support the large crowd in the room. Sometimes the resolutions of the projectors are not suitable to give the best graphics to the students and therefore making it hard for them to see and are distracted as they cannot view the slides properly. That’s why it’s good to look for a projector that is specific for classrooms and has excellent resolution also works well in a large room.

 Bulb replacement

Another challenge that the classroom projectors come with is the cost of the bulb replacement. This is a challenge as you find the projector to have a short lamp life as the projector is used most of the time.  When the projector elapses its lamp life, you have to get a replacement bulb to continue using, and therefore you find it to be expensive especially the overhead projectors. An example of the cost of an overhead projector is around $300.

Portability

When you are working with projectors for the classroom, you have to get a projector that is portable and lightweight to enable you to walk with it from one point to another. Since most of the projectors used for classroom purposes are heavy and bulky, it is not easy to work with them since they are hard to carry around while in movement and disconnection and connection each time you want to use in the classroom. A good example again of a classroom projector is an overhead projector

Sound

Sometimes the projector used in s classroom does not produce enough sound for everyone in the room and therefore requires one to get an external sound system to make it possible to hear effectively. We can say that this is a big challenge to most teachers and lecturers as they have to meet and the extra cost of getting an external sound system to enable the students to learn effectively especially when the content entails videos and audio for study.

Power supply

This may not be a challenge for some people, but it is a great challenge as for a projector to work well in a room there has to be a power socket in the room to be so. Since some of the studies may be done outdoors, the projector needs to have a power supply at the outdoor connectivity.

Brightness

Another challenge is the brightness of the projector. This is very important as the brightness is very important for the displaying of the images and slide into the classroom as without proper brightness the images may seem faded and do not show properly.
